Narendra Modi
Lashing out at foreign policy of the UPA government, Modi alleges that New Delhi is ruled by weak leaders.
U.S.A could no way
arrest the mass support to Modi despite denying visa to him. A delegation of
legislators and business did break all barriers to visit India solely to meet
Modi and had admired him for the contribution of his governance enabling
overall economic progress made by the state. He is really lucky to get selected
as an icon of the home state by Gujarati expatriates in U.S while they have
made elaborate plans to celebrate the Gujarath Day, commemorating the formation
of Gujarat state on 01 May,1960.
The Indian community in
18 U.S cities had gracefully given the chance to Modi, to address and share his vision of 'Good Governance' that is the
foundation of Gujarat's growth story. This is certainly a value addition of
popularity and fame to Narendra Modi; but Gujarath’s U.S expatriates have
elated to project their concerted vision on governance which Modi rightly made
possible for them to boast of. This positive thinking of Gujarati people to
appreciate and adore a person who could synchronize all available resources
with the requisite element of wisdom and proper administration devoid of
corruption will became more significant. Modi’s address to his followers in 18
cities of U.S through satellite without moving out of his sanctimonious office
is historial indeed.
Narendra
Modi had humbly attributed the credit for developments achived to the six crore
people of home state who love Gujarat. His reiterated assertion that India have lost “trust and
confidence” in the centre, due to its “poor governance” and high corruption is
down to earth and not sarcastic on the back drop of scams after scams that
stench the whole nation! It will be a herculean task to grab the trust of
people while people reached their maximum repugnance on seeing the magnitude of
corruption especially in every ministry at the central government.
Modi’s question on China’s adventure and reluctant
abandonment followrd by India’s withdrawal of troops from own land is being put
forth by one and all while it had shown lack of audacity by our regime that can
caution any kind of attempt to intrude into our land by any nation. In fact
this lack of audacity is reflecting on the powerless Prime Minister who is
working like a manager of a proprietory concern. (Providentially we will have
the same PM until 2014 as per latest flash)
Sardar Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel was an Indian Barrister and statesman, one of the
outstanding leaders of Congress. He was acclaimed for his unequaled role in the
country's struggle for independence by
steering for an integrated nation. It will be a real tribute him if Modi
construct a ‘Statue of Unity of Sardar Patel’ which will have double the height
of ‘Statue of Liberty’ in New York. With the size of immigrants and money power
of Gujarati community in U.S and other nations, Modi can certainly project a
big corpus far exceeding the cost for the statue, thus enabling to finance all
developmental projects in the state.
Actually
Sardar Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai
Patel was the chairman
of the committees responsible for minorities, tribal and excluded areas,
fundamental rights and provincial constitutions which piloted a model
constitution for the provinces in the Assembly, and which contained limited
powers for the state governor, who would refer to the President wherein it
should not be the intention to let the
governor exercise power which could impede an elected government.Still he did
receive denigration on various flaws of the freedom movement suspecting him for
instantly agreeing to accept the partition of
India as a solution to the rising Muslim separatist movement led by Muhammand Ali Jinnah , as he was outraged by
Jinna’s ‘Direct Action Plan” which had provoked communal violence across
India. It was Patel who openly and severely criticised the viceroy's induction
of League ministers into the government, and the revalidation of the grouping
scheme by the British without Congress approval. Patel was criticized for his actions to
integrate princely states. Further his proximity to Sarabhai and Birla
’industrialist’ families were construed wrongly especially by Socialist
politicians. Patel was responsible for system of giving
nominations of Anglo- Indians to Parliament by President. He could protect
civil servents from political involvement and guaranteed their terms and
privileges. He was instrumental for for founding IAS and IPS cadres. The installation of a statue of Patel by Modi
will give value addition to his doctrine of “ India First” while campaigning
for the ensuing Parliament election in 2014.
